June 6: How to Improve Your Hearing
We’ll look at Jesus’ Parable of the Soils in Luke 8:4-15 and get His guidance on how we can prepare to hear the voice of God more clearly.
June 13: How God Speaks to Us Through His Word
John 1:1 tells us that God’s Son, Jesus, is the Word. In this message we will look at Hebrews 1 where it tells us that, “Long ago God spoke to the fathers by the prophets at different times and in different ways. In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son.” We’ll look at the unique way God speaks to us through His Son Jesus Christ the Incarnate “Word” of God through the written “Word” (the Bible).
June 20: Tuning in to the Spirit of God
God’s Holy Spirit is His presence with us and points us to Jesus. We will look at how the Holy Spirit speaks to us especially as He illuminates scripture for us to hear what God is saying. We look at the Holy Spirit’s unique role in speaking to us and seven specific ways to test an impression.
June 27: How God Uses Other People to Speak to Us
We will look at the way God uses wise people to help us hear from Him.
