Deacon Helps Ministry
Through the work and guidance of our Deacon Ministry and Men’s Ministry, we have assisted many individuals and families in the Gladeville area. Things such as building wheelchair ramps, helping single mothers move, providing medical assistance to the needy, etc. are an ongoing ministry. This ministry is for people with a heart for missions and ministry that can’t go on trips, but are willing to assist locally by “touching” homes with love through manual labor, providing meals and special assistance upon request.

Middle Tennessee Raceway Ministries (MTRM)
When the Nashville Superspeedway opened in 2000 our church felt the need to become part of the National Fellowship of Racetrack Ministries and minister to the fans that attend. Crowds of 25,000-35,000 fans have come to look for us and the “touches” we make to share the gospel and extend fellowship.

For more information, please contact the church office at (615) 444-9550 or use our online Contact Us form (select “Middle Tennessee Raceway Ministry” from the “Interest Area” drop down box).

Disaster Relief
Our church has been instrumental in providing assistance to areas after a natural disaster. We have sent crews to Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana after hurricanes and tornados ravaged these areas. In 2006 GBC built its very own shower trailer, which is still in use at Metairie Baptist Church in New Orleans.  We are continuing to help with the rebuilding efforts in the New Orleans area. We send several adult teams for short trips throughout the year.

Middle School Missions
Our middle school ministry is continuing to work in the Appalachia area of Tennessee. They will return to Dyersburg, TN in the spring. They are involved in various projects ranging from home repair, clean up, and minor construction to handing our clothes and feeding the needy. For more information on middle school missions contact Chase Baker.

High School Missions
Our high school ministry is continuing with the disaster relief and rebuilding efforts in the New Orleans area. They will return to New Orleans, LA in the spring. They are involved in various projects from hanging and finishing sheet rock, painting, and flooring installation. For more information on high school missions contact Michael Eubanks.
