Angel Food Ministries

Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the United States. Angel Food works through churches and community organizations in over 32 states including Gladeville Baptist Church of Gladeville, TN. Angel Food’s groceries are sold in a quantity that can fit into a medium-sized box at $30 per unit. Each month’s menu is different than the previous month and consists of both fresh and frozen items with an average retail value of approximately $60.

ANYONE Can Order Food Boxes
There are no applications to complete or special earnings qualifications. There are no limits to the number of boxes or bonus foods you can purchase, but you must order at least one regular menu box to be eligible to purchase any of the monthly specials.

How to Order
Gladeville Baptist Church currently accepts Angel Food orders by mail or in person. Print our current menu order form (38kb PDF). Complete the right hand portion of the form; including your name and contact information, the number of regular menu boxes and specials that you would like for the month, and the total amount of money enclosed.

If you are ordering by mail, orders must be received by the order deadline day. Orders received after the deadline will be returned and not processed.

Orders can be made at our church office on Monday’s between the hours of 9:00am-12:00pm or on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings during normal church times at our Welcome Center.

Food Stamp Payments
Food Stamp payments must be made in person on Monday’s between 9:00am - 12:00pm or on Wednesday evenings between 6:00pm - 6:30pm at our Welcome Center.

You can also order next month’s menu box on food distribution day. Cash, Check, and Food Stamp payments are accepted on that day.

Who qualifies?
Everyone, there are no applications or qualifications to order Angel Food.

Where does the food come from?
Our food is “restaurant grade” meats, frozen vegetables, fruits, dairy products, etc. which we acquire through our involvement with only the best producers/vendors of high quality, “name brand” foods. Never “seconds” or “day old” type products are involved.

Can we purchase more than one unit or special?
Yes, you can purchase as many regular units as you would like. To purchase a special box you must first order a regular unit.

Can I pay for my order with food stamps?
You can pay for your order with food stamps. All food stamp orders have to be placed in person, because a voucher must be signed.
