Connect Groups
Did you know that over 100 groups meet every week either on campus or in homes, restaurants, and places of business?
Why so many groups? Because these groups help us to connect with other believers. These groups help us to grow in our faith and help us to develop the special gifts and abilities God has given us. In these connect groups, strangers become friends, and friends enjoy life together.
If you’re not in an “connect group” you’ll find it hard to get to know anyone at the Glade Church. The truth is, you really can’t fellowship with hundreds of people at a time, but you can develop strong connections in a group made up of fifteen to twenty.
What kind of groups do we have?
Sunday Connect Groups for All Ages
You might know these as Sunday School. These generally meet on Sunday mornings and can be your “home-base” where you can study, discuss, and share weekly.
Other Connect Groups
These connect groups gather for a few weeks or a few months to explore a topic of interest, deal with an issue or concern, do something together they love, tackle a task they want to see done, or develop a skill or ability in which they have an interest. You can sign up, show up, and move on as you wish. These occasionally meet on Sunday mornings, but usually meet on week-days or week-nights.
Over 1,400 persons are meeting in connect groups every week (sometimes there are over 1,700).
