Our children's ministry exists to glorify God through the spiritual formation and transformation of individual children through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

COME/WORSHIP
Kidstuf Worship (Sundays 10:45 am)
Let kids worship... like kids! Kidstuf is a God-focused, kid-friendly worship experience each Sunday at 10:40am for 1st-5th graders. Kids worship God through live music, life application videos, and Bible stories that bring focus on the Creator!
CONNECT/GROW
Sunday Morning Connect Groups (Sundays 8 & 9:15 am)
Ongoing Sunday morning connect groups are provided for 1st through 5th grade, where caring relationships are formed with loving adults, and a strong spiritual foundation is laid.
G-Kids (Wednesday Nights 6 pm)
G-Kids is a discipleship time for grade-school children where they explore the Bible through story, crafts, worship & games. Other groups are also offered on Wednesday nights including Worship and Dance Ministry.
Kids Night Out
April 27, 2012 (6:00pm – 10:00pm)
An activity-filled evening for children birth through fifth graders including pizza, recreation and a movie.
Cost is 1 Child - $13, 2 Children - $18, 3 or more Children - $23 (Immediate family only.)

SERVE/GO
We look for opportunities throughout the year to give our children opportunities to serve in the community through ministry and missions projects.
Child Safety & Security
Security for your child is a top priority at The Glade Church. Children especially need to feel secure and loved in their environment. We have a security system in place anytime children are participating in church activities. Our security system is in place for birth-4th graders. Parents are also welcome to check in on their children at any time during a session (we ask you do so discreetly, however, so as not to disrupt), and to volunteer to be a part of their children's activities.
Special Needs
Our commitment at the Glade Church is to serve children with special needs and their families with honor and integrity. The end goal for children with special needs is no different than our end goal for typical children...being transformed more into Christ's likeness (see the Glade Church strategy).
- Caring and trained adult staff
- Consistent peer models working alongside children with adult helpers
- Honoring requests of families regarding inclusion/mainstreaming
We believe these components are critical for creating a successful environment for learning, spiritual development, and transformation in Jesus Christ for children with special needs.
