Connect
Currently, over 100 groups meet every week either on the church campus or in homes, restaurants, and places of businesses.
The reason connect groups are so important is that these groups help you to connect with other believers, to grow in your faith, and to develop the special gifts and abilities God has given you.
In these connect groups strangers become friends and friends enjoy life together.
If you are not in a connect group, you will find it hard to get to know anybody at the Glade Church. You can't experience fellowship with hundreds of people at a time, but they can develop strong connections in a group made up of ten to fifteen persons.
Connect groups at the Glade Church fall into two categories, Sunday and Other.
The Sunday connect groups are similar to a traditional Sunday School. These groups generally meet on Sunday mornings and can become a "home-base" where individuals may study, discuss, and share weekly.
Other connect groups gather for a few weeks or a few months to explore a topic of interest, deal with an issue or concern, do something together that they love, tackle a task they want to see done, or develop a skill or ability in which they have an interest.
These occasionally meet on Sunday mornings, but usually meet on week-nights or week-days. Over 1,400 persons are meeting in connect groups every week.
