Financial Gifts for Haiti

Also, if you would like to make a monetary donation you may write a check to the church and designate it “Haiti Relief.” The money will be sent to the North American Mission board.

Your donation will be used exclusively (100%) for direct disaster response expenses. Administrative and staff needs are covered by volunteers and Southern Baptist entities at the local, state and national levels.

Help for Haiti with Buckets of Hope

Update: GBC collected 242 buckets of hope for Haiti.  Thanks to all the individuals, families, children and students who helped to make this relief effort such a huge success.  Our student ministry alone collected enough items to put together 20 buckets and collected over $500.  Our Wednesday night children’s classes also collected items, put together buckets, and spent time as a class praying for the families who would receive those buckets.  Please continue to pray for Haiti and for the many families who will be receiving these buckets over the next month.

Buckets of Hope for Haiti

Each bucket will cost about $30 to pack and will feed a family in Haiti for a week. The Glade Mission team has purchased 150 buckets to help you get started. These will be available in the foyer beginning Sunday, February 14, 2010.

View a video with instructions on how to pack your “bucket of hope.”

Bring your packed bucket to the church by Sunday, March 7, 2010.
